General Rental Conditions

This rental is made under the general conditions mentioned below and the payment of the reservation deposit implies acceptance by the lessee of the following general conditions:
Reservation :
The reservation is only effective after validation of the file by Mrs. CHARLET Virginie and receipt of a deposit of 50% of the rental amount by bank transfer.
Payment Terms :
The payment of the rental will be made in 2 installments. The first payment of 50% to confirm the reservation, the payment of the balance will be made no later than 30 days before arrival by bank transfer. The amount of the deposit of 3000 Euros will be payable on the day of arrival.
Failing receipt within these deadlines, the contract will be terminated by the fault of the lessee, and the amount of the deposit for the reservation will be retained by the lessor.
Terms of cancelation :
Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before the arrival date will get a 100% refund.
Holidaymakers who cancel between 30 and 60 days before the arrival date will obtain a 50% refund.
If the cancellation is made between 0 and 30 days, holidaymakers will not get any refund.
Security deposit / surety:
A deposit of 3000 euros must be deposited on the day of arrival. This sum can in no case be considered as payment of part of the rent and will be returned within fifteen days, after return of the keys and after deduction, if necessary, of rental repairs.
The lessee is responsible for any broken or damaged object as well as damage that could be caused to the installations following the misuse of the devices. If the guarantee proves to be insufficient, the lessee undertakes to complete the sum.
Occupation of the premises:
The premises subject to this rental must not, under any circumstances, be occupied by a number of people exceeding 16, except with the prior agreement of the owner. The dates of occupation will be perfectly respected.
Assurance :
SARL LETNEY declines all responsibility in the event of loss, theft of personal effects which may occur during the rental, accidents, fires, misuse of equipment or other.
The airial du Moulin d'Hourtoy is a natural site in the middle of a forest and with many bodies of water, we decline all responsibility when using the infrastructures and unsecured natural sites which must attract your full attention. if you come with children.
The tenant must provide a civil liability certificate specifying the cover on the property: in the absence of this certificate, no keys will be handed over.
Obligations of the lessee:
The lessee is bound by the following main obligations:
Occupy the premises only for private purposes, excluding the exercise of any trade or profession, the lessee acknowledging that this rental is granted to him only as a temporary residence and pleasure, major condition without which the present rental would not have been granted to him.
Occupy the premises personally and cannot under any circumstances sub-let, even free of charge, nor assign their rights to this rental.
Allow the repairs to be carried out on the premises, the urgency and necessity of which would appear during the rental, and would not allow their postponement.
Maintain the rented premises and return them to good repair at the end of their use.
Non-smoking rental
Small animals accepted
Immediately inform the lessor of any loss and damage occurring in the rented premises, even if no apparent damage results.
Do not leave skylights, bay windows and doors open in case of absence.
Entry into the chalet and exit from the chalet at the end of the stay:
Entry to the chalet is between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. The lessee must contact our manager on site before his arrival to confirm his arrival time. The premises must be vacated on the day of departure before 10:00 a.m.
State of play:
End of stay cleaning must be done on departure. An end-of-stay cleaning service at the rate of 450 Euros is optional. The person in charge of the mill will take care of the start-up of the services and your requests for your stay.
The lessee will have to clean the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living room and will have to leave the chalet perfectly tidy on his departure, the dishes and household appliances cleaned and put away. In the event of non-compliance with these clauses by the lessee, cleaning, storage and repair costs will be charged to the deposit.
If damage, a lack of equipment and/or property are noted in the Mill or the Chalet on the day of arrival, the lessee must inform the manager within 12 hours. Beyond these 12 hours, it is considered that the Mill and the Chalet were in good condition.
General instructions:
The tenant must throughout the duration of the stay take the greatest care of the accommodation and pay particular attention to the technical installations, especially the Jacuzzi area.
Do not leave windows and doors open when you are away
Do not leave the fireplace burning unattended.
The volume of the music must in no case be a nuisance for the close vicinity.
It is forbidden to smoke inside the mill and the small chalet.
No unsupervised children in the jacuzzi area. (-18 years old)
Respect the rules of procedure on site and the welcome booklet – “the instructions for the chalet”
Cars must park in the parking lot of the mill.
Arrival time: 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Departure time: 11 a.m.
End-of-stay cleaning: €450 for interior and exterior cleaning, however, rental companies must:
Undo the beds
Do the dishes and put them away.
Remove household waste

Mill rental periods:
For rent only by the week during the summer holidays (July -August) minimum 7 nights
Attribution of jurisdiction :
For the execution of the present, the parties elect domicile at the domicile of the lessor. In case of dispute, the competent court will be that of the location of the rented premises.
The lessor cannot be held liable for any damages in the absence of execution of the rental contract due to force majeure, or any cause and impediment independent and external to its will, preventing the execution of the contract, or disturbing its obligations. No penalty can be claimed in this respect.
